I haven't been this excited about manga for a while now... And I do hope my package from amazon gets here this week!

I joined a contest by DMI... a collection contest!

Had I known about it sooner, I would have arranged all my manga in a way to show ALL of it, including the new ones. But since I didn't have time (I read about the contest on the last day for submission)... I had to use the last pictures I took of some of my manga when I actually had the time and was in the mood to fix them...

I know... I know... it's pretty lame... but it was the best that I could do at the last moment.

Oh, and they had a second deadline because there was a glitch with gmail (which of course I used to send them my entry). I only found out about this second deadline coz I had this (masochistic) itch to go to akadot retail to check out which manga they already have because they release manga 1 month ahead of everyone else... I accidentally clicked on the contest link... and that's when I read about the glitch and that the new deadline was again hours away, I think.... 

I hope that it did reach them on time. I still haven't gotten the confirmation email :(

New manga..... and life

That was one of the longest weeks I've ever had... Thursday was the only day I was living(working) for, and Friday of course, that's a given...
The storm made the week a bit more exciting. Even with my huge umbrella, I still got wet... Twice! I do not like bringing that umbrella to work 'cause it's damned heavy! And since it was a storm, the winds were strong... It was like I was bringing a parachute of sorts... It's a choice between getting wet or getting dragged by my umbrella.

Even with a storm... nothing could stop me from getting my manga! 

And on we go to the new manga for this week!

I got a bit more than I expected, even though 2 out of the 3 manga I was looking forward to wasn't released.

It pisses me off that NOW they decide to release a box set of vol 1 to 10 and it has a datebook in it! Grrrrr...

This is the only non-bishie manga. Well, he does have a nice smile :)

The first volume is beside my pillow, and I still have not read it... I am very interested in this series because it has stories of how certain manga affected the lives of the people that read them.

Hooo boy... This has 10 volumes and it's still ongoing :/

Oh yeah, it's the infamous 3 day weekend! I'm already on my second day since it's already 1:25 am of Sunday. 

I'm also on my second day of the dreaded female curse. So I'm not sure about posting a review...

Coming this week...

Of the manga that I listed as upcoming, most were in the list of which manga were going to be arriving at the store this week... of course, no Viewfinder... bleh... even if it is in the list of the actual manga that are going to be released this week... double bleh...

I was really looking forward to Desire Sensibility, since it was in the list of manga to be released this week, but my store didn't have it. Instead it had the second volume of Maiden Rose, which is also good and I also have the first volume...

Manga I reserved for this week are:

• Cafe Latte Rhapsody - I'm happy that this really was among those released. I've loved the scans, and now I will finally have it in my grasp!
• Hey Class President vol 3, - there was someone attempting to scanlate this, but I didn't like the way it was done, so I'm glad that the actual volume finally came out!
• I want to bite - vampire... nummy...
• Maiden Rose vol 2 - the next volume of the 'adventures' of Klaus and Taki.... this has so much drama...
• Mysterious Love - Zaou Taishi!!!!
• Your Love Sickness - come to me my cute little fox demons... >D

I guess I'll have to keep an eye on amazon if Desire was released this week or not... and they finally have Tyrant on stock, but I STILL NEED VOL 2 OF ZE!!!!!

oh... there were 2 books that were not yaoi that I reserved... Dogs vol 4 and Vampire Hunter D Reader's Guide... 

this'll have to do for now, I'm really tired... so tired that I've been ignoring the non capitalization of the first letters of some of my sentences... and usually I am anal about that... just usually
